After a small break in January, we’re excited to announce the date for another in-person Reading Room event in Berlin: Join us on February 19, 2025 at Refuge Worldwide's Oona Bar for an evening of reading and connection.

RSVP now to secure your spot, since capacity at Oona Bar is limited.
Doors open at 7:00 pm, and we ask you to arrive in time to settle in, find a chair, maybe grab a drink, and get comfortable. The one-hour silent reading usually begins around 7:30 pm after a brief introduction from us, once everyone has arrived and settled in. From 8:30 pm on, the space will open up for conversation with your fellow book lovers – and if you’d like to continue reading, you’re of course welcome to do so.
Grab your book and get ready for another cosy night of silent reading, drinks, ambient tunes and chats about books!

Bring along the book you’re currently reading, or a favorite you’d like to revisit.
Settle in for a peaceful, one-hour silent reading session.
Share favorite lines or book insights with your neighbor – or simply keep reading.
All the while, sip on a drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic, hot or cold) from the bar and enjoy music curated especially for the evening.
